IMPORTANT:
1. Horses must be presented with an FEI passport or an FEI approved
National Passport with Recognition Card with up - to - date
influenza vaccination record
2. The electronic heart rate monitor and display system shall
be used to determine the heart rate of horses as per set protocol
3. At the Pre-ride Inspection please ensure that your horse
is sufficiently warmed - up before you bring it inside the vet
gate. Any horse which will not permit examination or which is
dangerous to the examiners shall be eliminated.
4. Pre-ride Briefing at 16:30 on 16 February 2007 in the vet
gate area 5. Riders must wear hard type riding helmets with
chin strap and shoes with heels
6. Whips, spurs and long reins are not permitted
7. Private cars are not permitted inside any forest area. Cars
must travel at a safe distance from the horses at all times

9. No crewing in the entrances or inside the vet gate
10. No more than two persons and the rider shall be permitted
with the horse at any time inside the vet gate. All persons
are requested to remain quiet when horses are being examined

12. Horse Re-Examination shall be approx. 10 min before departure
time
13. A horse retired after the start must be seen by an official
Ride Veterinarian
14. There will be a Best Conditioned Horse Competition
